What Ranka is
Ranka helps parents and guardians log and review their baby's feeding, sleep, nappies, baths, play, moods and growth. It is a record-keeping tool.
Not medical advice
Ranka does not give medical advice and is not a medical device. Charts, reports and videos are for general information and to help you keep records. They don't replace advice from a doctor, nurse or clinic. If you are worried about your child's health, contact a healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and be the parent or legal guardian of any child you add.
- Give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You decide who to share with. Anyone you invite can see the information you share with them.
Using the app
Don't misuse Ranka: no unlawful use, no attempts to break or overload it, and no accessing anyone else's data.
Your information
Your information stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it to run the app for you. How we handle it is described in our = " " = link_to "privacy policy", privacy_path | . You can delete your account and data at any time from the app.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Ranka available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Ranka is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using the app's information. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under South African consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app. Continuing to use Ranka after that means you accept the new terms.
